A Few February Goals

February 2016-01

Happy February, everybody! I know it’s technically a week into the month already, but I wanted to share a few of my monthly goals on here.

I don’t normally make goals, but sometimes, I need a little kick to get started. Now even though this list is a week overdue, I still like to say it’s better late than never. And besides, when did it turn February?! I feel like this year is flying by. Below is a compilation of little, fun, and serious goals I want to work towards this month.

  • Make my own almond milk. I’ve made my first batch and it turned out awesome. I found a yummy looking recipe from here. I’ll post pictures soon of how it turned out.
  • Sew more. I love sewing. I’m still pretty much a newbie but I’ve already sewn tons (I mean tons) of pillow cases, pouches, and some reusable dinner napkins.
  • Go zero-waste. Speaking of sewing my own dinner napkins and making my own almond milk, this is all because we’re trying to go zero-waste at the Henry Home. It’s a long process, but we’re making small steps!
  • Blog more. I love writing and I want to keep this blog going.

Hmm, that’s all I can think for now but I’m sure I’ll be adding to this list. For now, I’ll focus on those four. Thank you for reading!
