Hello! Here’s a quick, somewhat messy update on a few things I’ve made for the home this holiday season.
Let’s start of with Christmas pillows. Because, I can’t help it. I’m always changing out the covers on our throw pillows and more often than not, I’m making new ones instead of reusing…oops. I’m trying to get better at reusing. The blue one is from last year but the red and beige ones are new.
Hello! We love Christmas over here at the Henry Home so I decided to dedicate a post on our Christmas decor. Now, this post will mostly focus on our tree since I haven’t gone full-blown Christmas decorating. This is because of my pregnancy and how the thought of this baby being born in March just consumes our minds. For the first time ever, seasonal home decor have taken a back seat. I love summer. I love how we get more sunlight in our living room when summer gets closer. And I like decorating my home to fit the season. I only did minor, little changes to our living room this summer but already it feels lighter and brighter. (more…)
Spring is my favorite season. I love the flowers and the greenery. It’s also the season Russ and I got married. When it hits April, I’ll just be swooning.
Since I’m all for cost-friendly home decor, I was determined not to spend a lot of money revamping our home for spring. It was a success. I had lots of dried flowers on hand. That is because any bouquets or foliage I got in the wintertime, I saved and dried in hopes that they’ll make it to spring. These flowers have just been chilling on my windowsills, hanging upside down, and drying. (more…)
