Hello there! To help increase the holiday spirit, I decided to jump in and do Blogmas for the whole month of December. For those of you not familiar, it’s basically when bloggers and vloggers record their everyday doings through their respective creative outlets for the month of December. So here’s my first post…better late than never 🙂
This past Thursday, we had community group at our place. I cooked dinner and we had great discussion with friends that came over. Here’s a few pictures of things I cooked:
On a side note, why have I not roasted carrots sooner?! They were delicious!
I made crockpot chili this night (unfortunately, I don’t have any pictures of the main dish–blogger fail) and wanted to pair it with cornbread. I didn’t want to buy pre-baked ones. After scavenging around the internet, I realized buying a couple boxes of cornbread mix and upgrading it was the best option. I found this easy recipe and made it that night. They came out great. To prove it to you, here’s a blurry picture of them. I made them in regular sized muffin tins as well as mini sized tins.
And since it was one of our friend’s birthdays, they brought Sprinkles Cupcakes. As you can tell, we were all excited about the cupcakes that we didn’t even take a pretty “before” picture. We just jumped right in.
Overall, it was a good night filled with lots of food and eating.
See you tomorrow for another blog on this blogmas season!
